ERISA Consultants (CPA, Research/Technical Writers, Technical Trainers)

Job Description Summary

To support our growth, we have numerous opportunities in our ERISA department for CPA's, Research and Technical writers, technical training and education, client Consultants and many more area's of expertise in the Qualified Retirement Plan space to join our dedicated team of experts.


  • Research, analyze and interpret legislative or regulatory guidance.
  • Conduct audits of clients’ procedures and practices.
  • Draft and conduct training to internal or external clients regarding retirement plan or IRA rules and regulations
  • Draft content for internal or external announcements or publications regarding legislative or regulatory guidance.
  • Provide qualified retirement plan and/or IRA technical helpdesk support to internal and external clients.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Any of the following responsibilities may be assigned based on individual skill set.
    • Draft and conduct training to internal or external clients.
    • Review, analyze or draft retirement documents and related notices and forms
    • Draft content for internal or external technical announcements or publications.
    • Conduct audits of clients’ procedures and practices.
    • Calculate and prepare IRS and DOL corrections for clients.


  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Preference given to a degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Experience in any of the above responsibilities or related field preferred.
  • CPA certification required (only for CPA Consultant role).
  • Demonstrated excellent writing skills. Experience in retirement or financial field preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to learn a very technical topic.
  • Experience in any of the above responsibilities or related field preferred. 
  • Additional preference given to advanced degrees such as: CPA, MBA or certifications such as :  ASPPA designations, CRSP, CFP, CTFA, DA, CEBS, CISP, CIP,
  • This position may include 10%-40% travel.
