Sr. Sales Consultant (financial services)

Provident Trust Group, an Ascensus owned company, is retirement custodian and administrator that specializes in self-directed IRAs with comprehensive trust and escrow services. We have an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned sales professional who is a prolific presenter to large audiences via in-person and online marketing new products and selling existing platforms. Successful candidate can work out of either our Roseville, CA or Las Vegas, NV locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead generation. Identifying New Agents and Institutional Groups, by creating partnerships with Educators and Investment Providers
  • Leverage suite of products and services to drive new business growth
  • Prospecting Live Event / Networking opportunities aimed at creating partnerships
  • Collaborate with team members to devise growth strategies for Agent / Institution Groups
  • Manage partnerships, insuring Agent/ Institutional Groups needs are being met by services provided, and offering additional services when opportunities are identified.
  • Knowledge of broker-dealer segment & custodial model
  • Understanding of retirement market and how TPA’s, Record-Keepers and Custodians can partner to drive new product development and growth
  • Ability to cross-sell and up-sell within a multi-division company to help drive synergies and growth for the company’s overall value proposition
  • Visualize the big picture and understand details to achieve a desired outcome
  • Have experience with CRM, preferably ZOHO, and updating account profile information for segmentation
  • Use consultative selling skills to isolate opportunities, needs and pain points that influence product roadmap for long term growth
  • Travel: initiating new / maintaining business with Agent / Institutional groups
  • Think strategically and work collaboratively with multiple business units
  • Be the primary contact for new and existing agent groups that are performing consistently, growing, or having potential growth
  • Ability to solve problems and handle general inquiries from new agent groups while slowly transitioning them to the Account Management Team for future inquiries
  • Proven track record working with broker dealers or other financial institutions
  • Travel up to 15 to 30%

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree or the equivalent
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in financial industry or related industry
  • Proven success in achieving sales goals (utilizing GoToMeeting required.
  • Securities sales experience with institutional groups / public speaking; sales with self directed IRA's and/or Trust & Escrow preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels in the organization
  • Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to think and act strategically
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Etc.)
