About the Role: We are part of a leading financial services organization supporting one of the most successful 529 College Savings Programs in the United States. Our Government Savings business is dedicated to helping families plan for future educational goals through efficient, customer-focused, and compliant operational processes.

As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to critical business functions, and gain valuable insights into a growing and impactful industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Deposit Processing

  • Review and process incoming deposit transactions accurately and within established timelines.
  • Validate transaction details and supporting documentation.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate exceptions, discrepancies, or incomplete requests.
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy while managing transaction volumes during peak periods.
  • Ensure compliance with operational procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Non-Financial Queue Management

  • Process account maintenance requests and related non-financial transactions.
  • Review customer documentation and update account information as required.
  • Conduct data verification and quality checks to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
  • Monitor assigned work queues and prioritize requests based on established guidelines.
  • Escalate complex cases and exceptions to senior team members for resolution.

Basic Qualifications:

Education

  • MBA (Finance) graduates from the 2026 graduating batch.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong typing and data entry skills with the ability to process high volumes of transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and operational standards.
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
