Section 1: Position Summary

The Marketing Distribution Technology Specialist brings specific technical expertise in enablement platforms including Seismic to the Marketing Distribution Technology team that lives at the intersection of technology, operations and distribution. This role will problem-solve as we grow distribution enablement technology capabilities (new platforms and enhancing existing ones), working with system configurations, and content automation for our distribution enablement team. The Distribution Technology Specialist will work with multiple business areas, vendors, and stakeholders to provide day-to-day support of various distribution technology platforms, ensuring teams, technologies, and processes work together effectively and efficiently in support of corporate and departmental objectives.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administration support for our distribution technology platforms, including problem resolution and maintenance.
  • Support the development, evaluation, implementation, and optimization of Seismic Live Docs.
  • Utilize AI-driven marketing technology to build efficiencies and optimizations across our marketing teams to enhance campaign effectiveness, improve ROI, and foster a data-driven decision-making culture.
  • Work with other teams to implement the defined requirements of corporate single sign-on in new and existing corporate applications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and bugs and coordinate with vendor’s technical support when necessary.
  • Onboard, training and license/user profile management.
  • Seismic Librarian – knowledge of taxonomy, Seismic dynamic rules and overall content management.
  • Support for analytics dashboard & reporting, including adoption metrics and engagement.
  • Configuration and testing of new automation capabilities across our technology platforms.
  • Assists with technology selection, integrations, and roadmaps, representing Ascensus Marketing in broader, related IT engagements.
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as requested.
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3:  Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years related work experience preferred.
  • Experience with Seismic Enablement Cloud and Live Docs.
  • Experience with generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), work management, lead scoring or similar marketing technology platforms.
  • Proven experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or a related field. Experience with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and data analytics tools is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, logical, process-oriented, and strategic.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new methods and work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to set goals, multitask, and prioritize workload.
  • Ability to demonstrate investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong technical aptitude and demonstrated ability to translate information to non-technical individuals.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, processes, and software.
  • Working knowledge of platforms that support project management; digital asset management tools; analytics tools; content management; marketing automation systems; other marketing technology/solutions.
  • Stay up to date on new platform capabilities and with support, roll out new capabilities to users.
  • Continually enhances knowledge of systems, products, and industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications, with advanced skills in Power Point.
  • Workfront proficiency a plus.
