Position Summary

The Accounting Specialist assists in the production of the periodic financial reporting provided to clients, manages specialized internal information reports related to client demographics and reporting requirements, monitors Accounting Services communications, and supports other Accounting Services functions as needed.   

Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

(1)        Generate time critical preliminary client base reporting

(2)        Manage and maintain internal “database” of client demographics and commitments

(3)        Monitor client report distribution for verification of timely delivery

(4)        Monitor Accounting Services communications for direction to appropriate recipient

(5)        Assist in the accumulation of source documents required for client report generation

(6)       Support maintenance of client reporting inventory

  • This position does not supervise others

Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of functions and formulas in Excel
  • Ability to organize and manipulate large amounts of data
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Associate degree (Accounting preferred)
