Section 1: Position Summary
The NQ Project Coordinator role within the NQ Product Delivery Team is a vital support position focused on assisting with project in-take, coordination, and testing. Situated within the line of business, this position aids in project facilitation, assists with project definition, and manages enterprise project requests. Additionally, the incumbent is responsible for reviewing requests, creating detailed test plans, and conducting system regression testing.
Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Facilitation and Management:
• Assist in facilitating projects from the line of business within the Product Delivery Team.
• Collaborate with team members to define project objectives and scope.
• Manage enterprise project requests for the line of business, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain project documentation and track project progress against established timelines.
Testing Procedures:
• Review projects as they emerge from development and are approved by User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Create detailed test plans outlining testing objectives, methodologies, and criteria.
• Perform system regression testing to ensure the functionality and integrity of business systems.
• Document and report any discrepancies or issues identified during testing procedures.
Enterprise Project Management:
• Communicate project status updates, risks, and mitigation strategies to relevant stakeholders.
• Handle requests for new projects, overseeing the process from initiation to approval, ensuring they meet the line of business’s strategic objectives.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data for project evaluation and reporting.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between project deliverables and business requirements.
• Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as delegated by the Product Delivery team members.

Section 3: Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements
Experience:
• Previous experience in an administrative or coordination role, preferably in a financial service industry within a business or project management environment.
• Familiarity with project coordination tasks, such as scheduling, documentation, and tracking progress.
• Strong communications skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects and deliver on time.
Skills:
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in managing project documentation and testing procedures.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with team members, stakeholders, and external parties.
• Proficiency in using productivity tools and software for documentation, scheduling, and reporting. Proficient with Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Knowledge:
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing procedures and methodologies, including system regression testing.
• Awareness of business processes and requirements relevant to project coordination and testing activities within the line of business.
Education:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university strongly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the retirement plan industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
