Section 1: Position Summary

The Project Manager – Documents and Agreements is responsible for managing projects from design through implementation for the Documents and Agreements (D&A) organization.  This position will manage D&A initiatives and coordinate the participation of D&A SMEs in technical organizational projects of all sizes.  The Project Manager will provide feedback on best demonstrated practices and provide frequent project status updates to the D&A Leadership team.

The Documents and Agreements organization plays an integral role in the execution of significant regulatory projects known internally as “mass events.” These projects are significant industry-wide efforts in which Ascensus plays an integral role for its partners and clients. This role will help facilitate the successful execution of these multi-year programs. In addition, the Project Manager will support other strategic, operational projects in which the D&A org plays a contributing role. This particular position may be tasked with more technical, system-related projects which would benefit from a candidate with prior IT experience.

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful completion of significant programs including regulatory “mass events”
  • Administer the intake and prioritization of formal projects and other initiative requests in which D&A participates or owns
  • Ensure detailed project plans and frequent follow-up with stakeholders on completion of those projects and ensure that the appropriate level of review and quality assurance is performed before the project goes live.
  • Accurately capture and communicate information throughout all project phases.
  • Gain appropriate approval and sign-off prior to the completion and implementation of projects.
  • Ensure appropriate communication and training is completed prior to the “go-live” of any project.
  • Support D&A as a secondary point of contact (other than the appointed D&A SME for the project) for other departments within the company on current and future projects.
  • Facilitate D&A project meetings, including preparing meeting materials.
  • Partner with fellow project manager(s) within D&A to support the full breadth of all strategic efforts outside of daily operational processing.
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3:  Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience with IT systems and workflows preferred
  • Strong project management skills, including successfully managing projects from beginning to end.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and ethical judgment, with a commitment to fostering a culture of collaboration and service 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal and external counterparts
  • Disciplined work habits and attention to details; self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to present in front of large audiences, i.e. town halls and senior leadership, Board of Directors, executive steering meetings etc.

The national average salary range for this role is  $120-130k in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment.
