Section 1: Position Summary

The Technical Lead is accountable for supporting logic and content development needed to support the delivery of retirement plan documents and agreements for our products as well as updating internal procedures and assisting with system support.  This includes updates to our data dictionary as well as our document system and testing updates and changes as part of our implementation processes. 

Section 2: Job Functions, Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Facilitate updates and changes to logic for data dictionary and systems to support new products and changes to existing products
  • Responsible for creating and updating procedural documentation
  • Assist with weekly and monthly reporting as requested
  • Responsible for drafting and reviewing language for agreements, documents and communication templates
  • Participate in strategic initiatives and collaboration opportunities across the organization
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to focus on continuous improvement for both internal and external customers including: 
    • Identifying and defining opportunities for greater efficiency and minimizing processes 
    • Identifying and rectifying inaccuracies of internal procedures 
    • Analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities 
  • Proactively escalate potential risks to appropriate leadership staff that impact either service satisfaction and/or financial liability
  • Provide one-on-one and group training to Document Team colleagues as requested
  • Facilitate process improvement initiatives specific to document services including analysis, testing support and quality controls and procedural documentation.
  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

Section 3:  Experience, Skills, Knowledge Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with creating logic and variable content in documents, agreements and communication materials.  Experience working with data dictionaries or retirement plan documents and agreements is preferred. 
  • Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Self-starter and highly motived
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented and collaborative environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and/or project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to build and maintain strong relationships with a variety of internal and external counterparts

Supervision  

  • Manage projects as assigned within timelines and budgets

The national average salary range for this role is  $53K-90K in base pay, exclusive of any bonuses and benefits. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salary offered will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, performance, and internal pay alignment.
