Ascensus’ Enterprise Solutions team serves Fortune-1000, professional practice and bank clients, delivering industry leading nonqualified plan services, executive benefit consulting, as well as COLI and BOLI insurance administration capabilities.

The Vice President, Enterprise Solutions Marketing is a key commercial leader, driving growth of the Enterprise Solutions business with targeted clients through marketing. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be part of the Digital, Marketing & Analytics leadership team, as well as sit on the Enterprise Solutions’ leadership team.

The role will set the marketing strategy designed to accelerate organic growth and retention; drive, measure and optimize marketing execution; manage the client experience across marketing touchpoints; elevate Ascensus’ reputation with Enterprise Solutions clients and prospective clients; and lead a team of high-performing Associates always demonstrating our core values of People Matter, Quality First and Integrity Always®. This individual serves as a strategic liaison between Enterprise Solutions businesses and the broader Ascensus Digital, Marketing & Analytics organization

Ideally for this position to be located (Hybrid) in either our Newton, MA or Dresher, PA locations.

Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Define marketing strategy based on understanding of market segmentation, customer behavior and competitive landscape.
  • Identify and develop a go-to-market strategy to improve growth, retention and reputation with target clients and prospective clients.
  • Contribute to Enterprise Solutions’ business plan and growth strategies through marketing.
  • Develop strong connectivity and working relationships with key stakeholders across functions within Ascensus and Enterprise Solutions and identify opportunities for increased collaboration, content development, synergies and partnerships within and across lines of business.

Execution and Commercial Outcomes

  • Develop and oversee execution marketing programs to support Enterprise Solutions growth and retention objectives for nonqualified plan services, executive benefit consulting, COLI and BOLI insurance administration capabilities.
  • Measure and evaluate the short- and long-term performance and return on investment of programs. Continuously improve and optimize program strategy and execution as required.
  • Use marketing technology, data and client experience measurement to monitor and improve client experience across marketing touchpoints.
  • Develop effective messaging to communicate the Enterprise Solutions’ value proposition and how products/services address client needs that is translated across marketing and sales content.
  • Utilize marketing technology to manage the lifecycle of marketing initiatives effectively and efficiently.
  • Develop marketing programs and content to support sales.
  • Oversee budgeting process for Enterprise Solutions marketing with a commitment to transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency

Relationship Management and Collaboration

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Enterprise Solutions Sales, seeking input on client needs and marketing programs/messaging, as well as keeping teams informed of all marketing efforts and the effectiveness of those efforts.
  • Collaborate with Ascensus’ Digital, Marketing & Analytics teams to consistently execute, measure, optimize and report on Enterprise Solutions marketing programs, as well as share best practices across marketing teams.
  • Motivate adoption of marketing capabilities by building understanding, engagement and enthusiasm for marketing’s potential to drive commercial outcomes for the Enterprise Solutions business.
  • Promote One Ascensus culture and cross-functional communication.

Team Leadership

  • Inspire and develop the Enterprise Solutions Marketing team through transparent communications, respect and inclusion, clear goals and expectations, empowerment, and a shared vision for marketing excellence.
  • Lead and drive results by influencing cross-functional resources, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders, and encouraging all to bring their best thinking to position marketing initiatives for success.

Risk Management

  • Responsible for protecting, securing, and proper handling of all confidential data held by Ascensus to ensure against unauthorized access, improper transmission, and/or unapproved disclosure of information that could result in harm to Ascensus or our clients.

  • Specific experience in B2B marketing essential
  • Experience with non-qual, COLI and BOLI is a significant asset.
  • An understanding of a regulated industry; financial services experience a plus
  • Minimum of 15 years of related experience in financial services industry.
  • Four-year college degree, marketing/communications, or related field; Masters degree highly desired
