ASSOCIATE RESOURCE GROUPS

Sharing Our Experiences

We offer several associate-led Associate Resource Groups (ARGs) in which associates can meet and share their perspective on common experiences, challenges, and interests. Our ARGs give members an opportunity to continue to grow, learn about themselves, and feel a sense of belonging here at Ascensus.

Our ARGs also have a significant impact on Ascensus as a whole. Individually and collectively, the ARGs help shape and execute company initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion efforts across our workplace.

Diversity & Inclusion Training: Raising Our Awareness and Understanding

All Ascensus associates play an important role in creating a safe work environment in which all feel welcomed and valued. Ascensus is committed to maintaining a discrimination-free, respectful, and healthy work environment. Our associates are required to complete a course called Raising Our Awareness and Understanding.

This course addresses diversity and inclusion topics, including unconscious bias and micro-inequities, and offers learners tips for navigating those challenges. The goal is to raise awareness so we can work together to maintain a workplace that is both inclusive and respectful.

Anti-Harassment Training: Building a Harassment-Free Workplace

As part of our People Matter. Quality First. Integrity Always.® Core Values, Ascensus seeks to maintain a professional workplace that is free of discrimination and harassment. All associates are required to complete the Building a Harassment-Free Workplace course.

This course provides leaders and associates with a comprehensive look at key aspects of harassment, including definitions and best practices for handling and reporting harassment. Associates explore harassment fundamentals, best practices for responding to harassment, and additional content that will help them comply with policy and expectations.

Building a Harassment-Free Workplace reflects our modern workplace challenges and teaches our learners about the specifics of the law and places expectations within the context and intent of those laws. This course helps learners spot, respond to, report, and prevent harassment of all types, including abusive conduct, bullying, and discrimination. Associates also learn about harassment related to social media and technology in the workplace, religious and ethnic stereotypes, gender identity and expression, inter-office romances, and the persistent challenge of sexual harassment.

Commitment from Leadership

Our success depends on our ability to find talented associates who bring unique perspectives, backgrounds, and expertise. An inclusive culture is essential to build stronger connections with each other that result in our ability to serve the needs of our diverse client base, helping them save for what matters.

Our leaders are committed advocates for supporting greater diversity and inclusion at Ascensus, and they stand behind the organization’s holistic approach to driving progress. As part of our ongoing work, our president and CEO has signed an action pledge, committing Ascensus leaders and associates to better our organization and increase awareness.
